Methods for increased employability
Published fredag maj 3rd, 2013
April 25, was the final meeting of our Nordplus project focusing on vocational guidance. The project has been examining various methods of vocational guidance with a focus on groups that are at risk of being excluded from the labour market. Based on pilot studies of vocational guidance methods in Finland, Lithuania, Latvia and Sweden, the project partners have produced a handbook. The purpose of these efforts is to create methods that increase students’ employability. The meeting was hosted TAKK, Tampere Adult Education Centre, Finland. We also visited their vehicle training and talked about future possibilities of expanding cooperation between TAKK and Amledo & Co through student exchange for work placement.
