Erasmus+ Exchange for staff and learners vehicle VET
The Erasmus+ International Exchange for Upper secondary vehicle training suuported by Erasmus+ which allows VET vehcile learners and teachers to go on job shadowing and traineeships abroad. The objectives of European Development plan were satisfactory achieved: Learners increased competence and improved career opportunities in the motor industry by empowered ability to handle foreign languages, cultures and values, better awareness of the European project and the EU values, increased self-empowerment and self-esteem, increased sense of initiative and responsibility. VET staff gained improved competences linked to their teaching and training, international overview that aspires to compare learning methods, ability to handle foreign languages, cultures and values, broader understanding of practices, policies and systems in education and training across countries, increased capacity to trigger changes in terms of modernisation and international opening within their educational organisations, increased support for and promotion of mobility activities for learners, increased motivation and satisfaction in their daily work. VET organisations allowed ongoing development of learning methods and learning outcomes to meet competence needs within a constantly changing trade. Improve the status of upper secondary school vehicle education and training programmes.
The learning outcomes was also in line with what we had planned such as for learners work-related skills, new understanding of local and national conditions and vehicle sector skills demands, awareness of company activities and skills need in a working Environment, theoretical knowledge to practical experience, social ‘skills, workplace adaptability and flexibility, improved cultural and linguistic understanding, work ethic in a working Environment, employability, increased self-empowerment/self-esteem, vehicle sector demands and commercial awareness, cultural understanding and linguistic competence, awareness of the European project and the EU values and subject specific skills e.g. Service and maintenance work, changing wheels, changing, sparks plugs, changing brakes and brake fluid, diagnostic, chaining motor, injector, body work. Learning outcomes for staff was also in line with what we had planned such as improved competences, linked to their professional profiles, understanding of practices, policies and systems in education, training in Europe, terms of modernisation and international opening within their educational organisations, quality of their work and activities in favour of trainees, understanding and responsiveness to social, linguistic and cultural diversity, support for and promotion of mobility activities for learners, professional and career development, foreign language competences and satisfaction in their daily work.
Participant Satisfaction with the Erasmus+ mobility experience was very high. – We have benefited unimaginably from participating in Erasmus+ mobilities and from Amledo & Co’ efforts
Provehicle was coordinated by Amledo & Co, CEO Patrick Ärlemalm, in collaboration with 24 partner schools and transport companies, Tomas Tärnfors, with financial support from Erasmus+, European Commission.
